Condo management has no power to fine over Covid-19 SOPs

Senior Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said today that only the Health Ministry and agencies empowered by it may issue compounds for not following Covid-19 SOPs.
This comes after the management of a condominium in Ampang allegedly issued a RM100 fine to a one-year-old toddler for not wearing a mask while in the lift.
Ismail said the management has no such powers, and urged it to withdraw the fine.
