KUALA LUMPUR - A Lamborghini luxury vehicle driven by a local man was involved in an accident on Jalan Tun Razak heading towards the Pahang Roundabout early this morning.
The incident at 8.40 am also involved several other vehicles, resulting in traffic congestion.
Head of Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department, Assistant Commissioner Sarifudin Mohd. Salleh said all the car drivers involved suffered only minor injuries and had been treated at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital.
“Preliminary investigation found that the Lamborghini luxury car driven by the 42 -year -old local man was heading towards the Pahang Roundabout from the direction of KLIA.
"The man involved had failed to control the vehicle and had collided with a Proton Perdana car driven by a 53 -year -old woman, causing her vehicle to overturn.
"The victim's vehicle then collided with several other vehicles in front of him. Among the vehicles involved are Mazda, Nissan Serena, Ford Ranger, "he said in a statement here today.
Commenting further, the investigation will continue if there are other vehicles involved in the incident.
"We have also conducted urine and alcohol screening tests on the Lamborghini driver and the results are negative.
"The case is classified under Section 43 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for driving a motor vehicle on the road without due diligence and attention or without reasonable consideration of others," he
