Pasir Salak Member of Parliament, Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman's face mask is once again in the spotlight.
Not only among the media practitioners who gathered in the lobby of Menara Dato Onn, Kuala Lumpur World Trade Center (PWTC) recently, but it also became the talk of netizens on social media.
Through the sharing of a Twitter user, the face mask worn by Tajuddin is a product under the LG PuriCare network and is sold at a price of RM1,699.
What makes the face mask unique is that it is equipped with air purification technology, thus ensuring users receive clean air.
Even so, netizens still slammed Tajuddin because he allegedly did not know how to use the face mask properly.
Many are unhappy when they see the face mask he wears often 'slipped' and through a video recording, it is clear that a journalist asked him to fix the sophisticated face mask before being interviewed.
In the comments on Twitter, some asked Tajuddin to just 'tape' the face mask on his face, and some even cynically considered it as 'cosplay' jewelry.
Some even joked, "He's still open? Not handsome, please wear it back."
There are also netizens who think that Tajuddin is not serious after being compounded twice for violating standard operating procedures (SOP) for not wearing a face mask in public.
It is common knowledge that Tajuddin was compounded after he was found not wearing a face mask when he was in the Parliament foyer.
Earlier, Tajuddin, who is also the former Chairman of Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana), was fined RM1,500 for the same offense during a press conference after visiting the location of two LRT trains colliding in a tunnel near KLCC on May 25.
