19 UMNO Barisan Nasional MPs who support the PN government appeared before the media today, at a press conference held at the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) Auditorium.
Leading the group were Deputy Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob, flanked by MCA President Wee Ka Siong, and MIC Deputy President M Saravanan.
Other MP's who were present include national unity minister Halimah Sadique, former Umno elections director Tajuddin Abdul Rahman, Padang Rengas MP Nazri Aziz and Arau MP Shahidan Kassim.
Ismail claimed that apart from him and the 18 MPs, in total there were 31 BN elected representatives who still supported the PN government
Ismail said that 10 others who were part of this group included Khairy Jamaluddin (Rembau), Hishammuddin Hussein (Sembrong), Dr Adham Baba (Tenggara), Reezal Merican Naina Merican (Kepala Batas), Mohamad Alamin (Kimanis), Zahidi Zainul Abidin (Padang Besar), Nizar Zakaria (Parit), Arthur Joseph Kurup (Pensiangan), Wee Jeck Seng (Tanjung Piai) and Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim (Baling).
