NEW YORK: Global COVID-19 deaths surpassed 300,000 on Thursday, reaching 300,074 as of 1.38 pm (1738 GMT), reported Xinhua news agency, according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.
Meanwhile, total COVID-19 cases around the world rose to 4,405,688, according to the CSSE.
