Malindo Air crews have been quarantined up to 14days in ZhengZhou as there was a passenger from Hubei province on-board and he is suspected with 2019-nCoV, CoronaVirus.

Malindo will take proactive screening of passengers on the ground and tighten the control over the movement of all passengers. Every flight to and from Mainland China will check on all passengers, passenger from Hubei province (as shown in passport) must provide medical certificate to proof that they are healthy an fit to travel/fly.

Passengers who are found unfit to travel or failed to provide the Medical Certificate will be denied to board the flight.

UPDATE (26 January 2020):
Malindo Air would like to confirm that 7 of its crew have been quarantined (for up to 14 days) in Zhengzhou as there was a passenger from Hubei province on-board, who is suspected with coronavirus. These crew operated flight from Kuala Lumpur to Zhengzhou on 24th January.
Malindo Air is closely monitoring the situation and providing all necessary assistance to the crew as well as authorities in China, to minimise the spread of the coronavirus.
As we speak, proactive screening of passengers on the ground and tighter control over the movement of our passengers for all flights to and from Mainland China are on going. All Chinese passengers from Hubei province (as shown in passport) must produce medical certificate to proof that they are fit to fly. Passengers who are found unfit to travel will be denied to board the flight.
