SHOT DEAD: Four rapists of veterinarian Disha killed in police encounter at crime scene

Hyderabad: In a case of instant justice, Cyberabad police in the wee hours of Friday shot dead Veterinarian doctor Disha’s rapists at the crime scene. The four accused rapists were taken to the crime scene near Outer Ring Road in Hyderabad.
Cyberabad Commissioner of police V C Sajjanar said ,”I don’t have full details. I was told there was some kind of exchange of fire and they were shot,” The four rapists are identified as Mohammed Areef, Jollu Shiva, Jollu Naveen and Chintakunta Chenakeshavulu.

Four of them trapped Disha a veterinarian doctor who parked her bike on ORR. They punctured the bike and offered help. Later they forcibly took away on the side and gang raped her. After raping they killed her. The body was then burnt.

In the intervening night of Thursday and Friday they were taken to ORR toll plaza for crime scene reconstruction. They were shot dead at the spot. After their arrest they were lodged in Charlapally jail in isolated cells. Later they were taken into police custody for questioning at the jail. From the police custody they were taken to Shamshabad.
Commissioner of Police V C Sajjanar said that he is rushing to the scene of the encounter. There was a nation wide furore over the gangrape and burning of doctor Disha. Public did huge protests and demanded that accused shall be hanged. In Parliament Jaya Bacchan said that the rapists shall be lynched. Hyderabad, New Delhi and several parts of the country witnessed huge protests demanding justice for Disha.
Telangana police took the issue seriously as there was sharp criticism against even Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for not commenting on the issue. Several people took on to social media demanding to bump off rapists in police encounter. Parents of Disha also demanded instant justice.
