Tengku A. Shazril Ezzani Tengku Sulaiman, Rashid Hasnan and Syed Ahmad Saipulrudin Sayed Mohd successfully defended their title by defeating the hosts 7-5.5 at the Inigo Zobel Polo Facility in Batangas on Sunday (Dec 1).
The victory saw them avenge their earlier 5-8.5 loss during the group stage last Tuesday (Nov 26).
The first two golds on the opening day were won by Loh Choon How in wushu and Sam Jee Lek in breakdance.
