Teenager lodges rape report, cops on the hunt for boyfriend and accomplice

KOTA KINABALU: A teenage girl lost her virginity in the worst way possible, and she has lodged a police report saying she was raped by her boyfriend and his friend in Lahad Datu.
Both the suspects are now wanted by the police.
The 17-year-old from Taman Telipok Ria Tuaran near here had on Feb 23 met her boyfriend from Lahad Datu for a date.
They went for dinner and a movie, but the girl did not dare go home after their date, as it was already late, so she spent the night at a friend’s house, while her boyfriend slept elsewhere.
However, she found herself being taken in another direction. In Ranau, the boyfriend stopped at a gas station to refuel his motorcycle and continued until Lahad Datu.

was his rented home and accompanied her in, whereupon he demanded that she take off her clothes and have sex with him.
“He is believed to have started hitting her on the face, using a helmet and stepped on her ribs when she refused,” he said in a statement.
ACP Nasri said the boyfriend allegedly raped the girl after that, and allowed his friend, who was also in the house, to rape her afterwards.
“The victim claims she tried to scream for help and to fight them off, but could not, as the suspect covered her mouth with his hand,” he added.
They also threatened to kill her if she told the matter to anyone.
The boyfriend sent the girl back to her sister (who was also in Lahad Datu) the following day, and she sent the girl home to Tuaran.
“At home, the victim told her parents about her ordeal and they proceeded to lodge a report,” ACP Nasri said.
He said the victim was taken to the hospital for medical examination and doctors found new tear marks on her hymen.
“There were also bruises found on the victim’s face, ribs and back,” he said.
The girl is now recuperating at the hospital.
